Sailing on at the Olympics 2024 (Jul 26-Aug 11, 2024) - dreams coming true.

Gold, silver and bronze - regardless, every participant is a winner. The whole event so far has been brilliantly vivid - something which shows off the very best of the sport worldwide. Although the ancient Games were staged in Olympia, Greece, from 776 BC through 393 AD, it took 1503 years for the Olympics to return. The first modern Olympics were held in Athens, Greece, in 1896. The man responsible for its rebirth was a Frenchman named Baron Pierre de Coubertin, who presented the idea in 1894. And now, we are in Paris, at the heart of French city life.

Top highlights have included Tom Daley’s return to winning form, with Noah claiming a silver medal in hand. For France, Leon Marchand wins a gold medal. China are top with Great Britain currently standing in fifth position.
